Dubai Diaries: A Journey Through the Unexpected

  When I first thought of Dubai, I imagined tall buildings, fancy cars, and luxury everywhere. But when I finally visited, I found out there's so much more to this city than just glamor. I started my trip in Downtown Dubai , where I visited the Burj Khalifa , the tallest building in the world. The view from the top was amazing. I could see the desert, the sea, and the whole city below me. It felt like standing on top of the world. After that, I wanted to see the older side of the city. I went to Old Dubai , where things are quieter and more traditional. The Al Fahidi area has small streets, art shops, and old-style buildings. I drank Arabic coffee, tried dates, and visited a few little museums. Then I took a short ride on an abra (a wooden boat) across the creek to the Spice and Gold Souks . The smell of spices in the air was strong and beautiful, and the gold shops sparkled like treasure. One of the best parts of my trip was the desert safari . We drove over sand dunes in a jee...
